Rough morning, relaxing evening
I'm still working on transferring the kitecam pictures. Hope to have them up soon. I'm doing everything on my phone and tablet, and Google's blogger app needs some work.
After flying the kite, we walked to the Halona Blowhole, a big attraction on Oahu. Because of the mollten lava tubes from volcanic eruptions thousands of years ago, waves entering this rock formation shoot up to 30 feet in the air!
Right next to it is Halona Beach Cove, where Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr had their famous kiss in "From Here to Eternity."
After a LONG walk and even longer bus ride back to the hotel, we had dinner at "The House Without A Key", a fancy restaurant right on the beach. Singers and hula dancers, while the sun set behind them. Wow.
