Very moving. They showed us a short film about the events that led up to the attack, and the timeline of what happened on December 7, 1941. Then a boat took us out to the memorial for the U.S.S. Arizona, which sits right above the sunken battleship. You can see it resting under you. You can also see drops of oil, coming to the surface 70 years later. No one's sure how much oil is still inside, but it leaks about two quarts a day.
A large wall lists the names of all the victims. Their bodies are still inside. A smaller wall contains the names of survivors who passed away since then, and whose final wish was for their remains to be taken down to the ship, to spend eternity with their crewmen.
